The Birth of a Brand

Late at night, when everything else went quiet, I sat cross-legged at my desk with the screen glowing and about twelve tabs open that had nothing to do with what I was supposed to be working on.

There's an old press camera sitting on a shelf in my office. It belonged to my grandfather. It's the reason the Apparel 80516 logo is a camera, and the story behind it is the most honest thing I can tell you about why this brand exists.

I have a lot of graphic tees. More than I'm going to tell you right now. I know what I'm looking for and I've gotten good at finding it, but even the best ones I've tracked down never felt like something only I would own. So I started making those instead.
